One of our 2007 graduates made the news recently. Buddy Sosnoskie was drafted in the 25th round by the KC Royals. Buddy, a 6-1, 182-pound utility outfielder/infielder, hit .347 with 13 home runs and 48 RBis in 53 games for Virginia Tech this season. His 13 home runs tied him for the team lead. He was redshirted in 2008 and hit .234 with a home run and 10 RBIs last season.
