Mary Jane Combemale Memorial Foundation Scholarship For the 2008-2009 Academic Year

The Mary Jane Combemale Memorial Foundation Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a young woman who attends Notre Dame Academy and intends to pursue a career in the Health Sciences. 

The criteria for selection are:

• Students must have a GPA of an  A (90-100)  in Physical Science and Mathematics
• Candidates must have demonstrated a commitment to community service and volunteer work
• Candidates must demonstrate qualities of kindness and generosity of self and have been recommended by others for such qualities

How to Apply

Applications must include the following items:

·         A letter written by the applicant, stating a commitment to pursue a career in the Health Sciences and setting out her goals for that career and her reasons and motivations

·         Proof of commitment to community service and volunteer work and recommendations from at least two persons outside of her family and the Notre Dame Academy community commending her for her public service spirit

·         Recommendations from at least three persons outside her family attesting to her qualities of kindness and generosity
